I went to an art opening last night and was very impressed with the number of people in attendance. The opening was for three ladies who made pottery and do photography. All are fairly new to holding openings and have put in alot of work to make it a success and it sure was. The one thing they did well was work together and the crowd showed in huge numbers. If you are contemplating putting on a show or event and wonder how you will get people out, try working with someone of similar interest and double your numbers. I have seen this work successfully in tradeshows, corporate sponsored events, and art openings. Not only will you meet people you wouldn’t necessarily have access to, but will create relationships with other people that may last forever.
