Social Media is called “Social” for a Reason!

It’s interesting to hear the talk on the news about social media and how it is actually making us more isolated than ever before. Youth are having more mental health issues than in the past and brands are using it more of a broadcast network than talking to customers. The “social” has gone right out of social media.

Recently we aired an interview with artist Tim Packer who went viral after posting a painting of his landscapes on social media. After some rethinking of how he was using social media to sell his work he changed his focus and not only sold art work on LinkedIn but became a sensation on how to use social media. He became more social and it worked!

Find out what Tim had to say

The lesson here is that if you want to become more prominent on social media, be social! I know myself it takes a determined effort to change but it really is what we have to do. It worked for Tim. You can listen to the full interview with Tim on YouTube below.
