Cash In On Your Creativity

We all want to cash in on our creativity and make money from our talents. That however is easier said than done! Musicians struggle to make money from their music and visual artists hang beautiful art on the wall hoping it will find a place in someone’s home. Authors write and create wonderful works of literature with hopes of big payoffs. But most struggle to sell minimum sales. So why do artists do it? They do it for the love of creativity, to take the thought that is in your mind and create something that others can enjoy is the biggest drug you can have and will burn inside you until create the work. If you’re going to create work anyway why not make it pay for you?

Learn about me here.

I am an artist as well in different genres and understand the creative drive, but I also understand the amount of work that goes into the creation process. Unless you are strictly doing your art as a hobby you have to find a way to make it pay for itself. Some artists go through a grant process and others find a way to use it as a business model. I have always gone through the business model and in order to do that you need to find the connection between your art and the need of a customer. It may be for entertainment purposes on the client end but they have to see how it will improve their life and many artists miss that point. My caricatures help an event have a better guest experience. A book can help a reader learn a concept. Music can help improve an event experience. How can your talent help someone else? If you learn that you will see the business model.
