On Thursday September 28th the Hamilton Niagara Fleet Safety Council will be holding their September meeting after a long summer break. This meeting will be honouring the two people selected as safety professionals in the transportation industry by the Chapter.

Awards will be presented and I will be conducting an interview with each candidate to learn more about their background and passion for safety. Congratulations to Sheila Land and Mike Lotakow for winning Safety Person and Safe Driver of the Year.

Inspiring Youth Episode 1- Compassion to Ambition

The television show launched! Last week September 19th was the first episode of Inspiring Youth TV which featured David Vandenberg on the episode. The show is on a two week premiere which means one episode will air for two weeks before a new episode is released. Episode 1 aired last week and repeated throughout the week. It will show again tonight as a premiere and then repeat throughout this week. Next Tuesday a new episode will begin, so it is a biweekly format.
