Inspiring Youth Features Young Musicians:S8-S8

Inspiring Youth went on location with a young musician to find out what it’s like to be in a studio environment and this was an extra special young musician because it was my Granddaughter. Here is what happened!

I was really just trying to spend time with my Granddaughter. It was her fourteenth birthday and I wanted to do something special with her. She has taught herself to play piano, guitar, and other instruments. As the owner of an internet radio station I know a lot of musicians and called on my friend Greg Zaluski of the Greg Zaluski Band. He graciously said yes and it was on. My Wife, Mother, and Neveah (My Granddaughter) headed out for lunch at Harveys (My Mums idea) and then down to Greg’s studio in Brantford Ontario. Greg and his wife Tina went above and beyond even buying Nevaeh a birthday cake.

Nevaeh got a guitar lesson with Greg and then we did the interviews for the television show. They even had me jam with them on the drums although I won’t be joining the band anytime soon. We had a great interview and you can see part of the show here.

So there you have it, Show 7 of Season 8 and special time with my Granddaughter. A big thank you to Greg Zaluski and his wife Tina for all of your help making this happen. If you are a young musician I hope you get some inspiration to continue your career.
