Opportunity Knocks to Those That Answer the Door #careers

Never in my life did I think I would have a television show. You never know what is in store for your life-embrace it! As we roll into another season of Inspiring Youth TV I have begun to think about the future of the show, but also where it started and began. I have been sharing photos and video from the beginning of the show over the Summer months as the show is in hiatus.

The show started as a chance encounter at a youth event that I was invited to speak at for high school students on career opportunities. I am amazed the show lasted this long, I didn’t think it would last more than a season or two. There is one thing this show has taught me:

• Show up and build your network (You never know who you’ll meet)
• Don’t be afraid to say yes even if you aren’t sure you know what to do. ( I figure stuff out along the way)
• Even non-paying work can pay off in other ways.
