It’s one thing for me to tell you about the book, but when other people tell you it’s different. Paul Copcutt and I have been working together for years and he has been very inspiring in the creation of my book You’re Not Done Yet. In fact Paul wrote the foreword for the book and created this video to be played at the launch for the book. Watch the video from Paul and see for yourself. Thanks Paul.

You have most likely heard me talk about Nate and Greg of Nate and Greg’s World over the last six months. I first met these two at a workshop I was giving for the Brampton Skills Clinic members on podcasting. After hitting it off at that workshop I interviewed the duo on the Cashing in on Creativity Podcast to learn more about them.
Recently they had me as a guest on their show talking everything from trucking to careers to Covid-19. The pair talk about diversity, culture, and a host of other topics allowing for a lively conversation. You can find Nate and Greg’s World on Youtube and your favourite podcast platform. I will warn you that their language isn’t for those of you that get offended easily, but the conversations are spot on. I suggest subscribing to the show and it is certainly a regular on my playlist.

It’s been a busy week with interviews as a guest on other people’s shows. what’s interesting is that many of these shows i either never heard of before or didn’t pay much attention. Recently I was a guest on the Creative Leadership Show with Renbert Mortimer of Waynehead Productions. Host Renbert and I met years ago through the International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA-www.caricature.org) at a convention. Ren is from the Bahamas and we hit it off instantly. I didn’t pay much more attention other than seeing his work online until he asked me to be a guest on his show. During the interview i found out i have been inspiring him from afar, go figure! The interview was done on Instagram which I didn’t know you could do and apparently Ren adds to them to his YouTube Channel later. The interview wasn’t up at the time of this writing but you can subscribe to the channel and should see it soon. Check him out on Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. This will be a young man to watch for the future. Thanks Ren for having me on your show.

I had the pleasure to be featured on the Read My Lips Radio Show with Host Radio Red (Bonnie Graham) talking about everything to do with creative entrepreneurs. We talked about music, art, business, and even talked about trucking. Thank you radio red for having me on the show and if you would like to listen to the replay of the show you can click the link below.
About the Episode
Bruce Outridge started drawing at age ten and had to learn it on his own, since art classes at school didn’t include drawing instruction. In fact, he used to get detentions in school for
what he now charges hundreds of dollars an hour in his art business!
At 16, Bruce’s passion for drawing somehow turned to driving and he spent 25 years driving transport trucks across North America, which taught him more about dealing with people than school ever did. He still works closely with the trucking industry, speaking about business and careers on his podcast, The Lead Pedal Podcast for Truck Drivers.
At age 40, Bruce went back to school and learned creative writing, marketing, and business. He started his art business in 2003 part-time. In 2006, he stopped driving trucks to devote himself to the business full-time. Bruce has created comic books, built an art business, expanded into a consulting business, and now a speaking business.
Bruce helps people be more creative – with content marketing and art entertainment for events – through his podcasts, books, articles, a television show, and as a motivational speaker.
